Dissertation Defense: Julia Hatt

The oral doctoral examination of Julia Hatt, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Friday, December 6, at 8:30 a.m. in the Carnegie Building, room 120.

Hatt’s advisor is Professor Duane Graysay. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Joanna Masingila and Jack Graver. Professor Josh Pollitz will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Student Understanding of Trigonometry: Exploring Understanding Through the Use of Contextual Tasks.”
