Dissertation Defense: Thiago Xavier de Melo

The oral doctoral examination of Thiago Xavier de Melo, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Friday, December 6, at 10 a.m. in the Dietl Room, 538 Hall of Languages.

Xavier de Melo’s advisors are Professor Mark Heller  and Kris McDaniel. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors, Scott Dixon, Janice Dowell, Michael Rieppel, and J. Robert G. Williams. Professor Johannes Himmelreich will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “The Naturalness and Structure of Relations.”
