Dissertation Defense: Pedram Maghsoud-Nia,

The oral doctoral examination of Pedram Maghsoud-Nia, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Friday, December 20, at 1 PM in Eggers Hall, room 100.

Maghsoud-Nia’s advisor is Professor Brian Taylor. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Hossien Bashiriyeh, Glyn Morgan and Yuksel Sezgin. Professor Osamah Khalil will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Unwanted Leviathan: State and Revolution in the Twentieth Century Iran.”
