Join us for CommuniVersity – Black-Arab Solidarities: A Brief and Interactive History. This informative conversation will be led by the Black/Arab Relationalities Initiative (a three-year Mellon-funded project) in collaboration with CFAC’s Communiversity Program. This roundtable discussion moderated by Syracuse University College of Arts and Sciences Associate Professors, Dana M. Olwan and Carol W.N Fadda will provide an overview of the history of Black and Arab solidarities in both US national and transnational contexts.
About This Program Series: CommuniVersity is a form of public education stitching together the time and talent of resources of existing universities and community organizations: building out a new, more powerful ecosystem of public education. This monthly series invites guest speakers and artists for a round table discussion on their talents and skills that elevate the community.
