Access and Resource Sharing presents a new Bird Library display on the 4th floor. From the turn of the 20th century up to World War II, women have contributed significantly to the advance of modernism in the arts, including such prominent names as Gertrude Stein, Virginia Woolf, Katherine Mansfield, Isadora Duncan, Martha Graham, Coco Chanel, Georgia O’Keeffe, and Frida Kahlo. This display provides a portrait image and descriptive text for each woman included, along with art reproductions and book covers of relevant Library resources.
