Please join Honors director Danielle Taana Smith and professor Jason Torreano to discuss the upcoming course, Global Human Rights: South Africa.
This course provides an introduction to conceptual foundations and contemporary issues in human rights. Students will examine the philosophical origins and continuing evolution of human rights, read and discuss key human rights documents and engage in debate of contemporary human rights issues, including their universality and enforcement. (3 credits, IRP 300/HNR 360)
