Dissertation Defense: Sadie Novak

The oral doctoral examination of Sadie Novak, candidate for the Ph.D.  degree, will be held on Wednesday, July 10, at 2 p.m.in the Center for Science and Technology, room 1-132 and via  Zoom.

Novak’s advisor is Professor James Hougland. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Carlos Castañeda, Rachel Steinhardt, Davoud Mozhdehi, and Heidi Hehnly. Professor Zhen Ma will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Investigating the cellular localization, trafficking, and biological function of ghrelin O-acyltransferase.”
