Dissertation Defense: Mingwei Dai

The oral doctoral examination of Mingwei Dai, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Thursday, July 18, at 12 p.m. in the Physics Building, room 202.

Dai’s advisor is Professor John Laiho. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Jay Hubisz, Scott Watson and Walter Freeman. Professor Monica Deza will serve as chair of the defense.  the title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Dynamical Dark Energy from Lattice Quantum Gravity.”
