The oral doctoral examination of Honggang Tan, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Monday, July 22,at 10:00 a.m. in 100A Eggers Hall.
Tan’s advisor is Professor Dimitar Gueorguiev. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Brian Taylor, Takumi Shibaike, and Hongying Wang. Professor Harvey Teres will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Dancing in Chains: Policy Influence of Social Organizations in China.”
