More than 4,000 international students are enrolled at Syracuse University each year, nearly 20% of the total student body. As a result, the Center for International Services (CIS) has become a home away from home for students who make the transition to college in the United States.
Join Juan Tavares director of the Center for International Service in this session where he will provide an introduction of how CIS cultivates a sense of belonging for international students through programming and services. These initiatives have been fueled by data-driven decision making, as current statistics and trends indicate the increased need of support for a diverse student population.
