Dissertation Defense: Taylor Harman

The oral doctoral examination of Taylor Harman, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Wednesday, July 31, at 2 p.m. in Maxwell Hall 205A and via Zoom.

Harman’s advisors are Professor Shannon Novak and Tom Brutsaert. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors  Kylie Harmon, Kyrstin Mallon Andrews, and Abigail Bigham. Professor Jane Read will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Evolution on High: An exploration of the distinct evolutionary trajectories of two native high altitude populations, and the narrative representations of their physiologies.”
