Dissertation Defense: Weiheng Chai

The oral doctoral examination of Weiheng Chai, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Friday, June 7, at 10 a.m. in the Center for Science and Technology, room 4-206A and via Zoom.

Chai’s advisor is Professor Senem Velipasalar Gursoy. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Asif Salekin, Garrett Ethan Katz, and Qinru Qiu. Professor Carlos Enrique Caicedo Bastidas will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Generating and Detecting Adversarial Examples for Increased Security and Privacy.”
