Dissertation Defense: Ammar Salman

The oral doctoral examination of Ammar Salman, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Tuesday, June 11, at 2 p.m. in the Center for Science and Technology, room 4-206A.

Salman’s advisor is Professor Wenliang Du. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Yuzhe Tang, Garrett Katz, and Mustafa Taha. Professor Riyad S. Aboutaha will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “A TrustZone-based Framework to Secure Mobile Financial Transactions and Provide End-to-End Protection for QR-code Payments and Credit Card Information.”
