The oral doctoral examination of Daniel Vander-Hyde, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Tuesday, June 18, at 1 p.m.in the Physics Building room 202/204.

Vander-Hyde’s advisor is Professor Stefan Ballmer. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Georgia Mansell, Craig Cahillane, and Scott Watson. Professor Joshua Russell will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Studies towards improved gravitational wave detector thermodynamics.”
