The oral doctoral examination of Shiyang Xiao, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Wednesday, June 19, at 8 a.m. via Zoom.
Xiao’s advisor is Professor Yilin Hou. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Mary Lovely, Alfonso Flores-Lagunes and Junyan Jiang. Professor Saba Siddiki will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Three Essays on the Policy Process of Subnational Industrial Policymaking in China.”
