The oral doctoral examination of Andrew Smith, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Thursday, June 20, at 4:00 p.m. in Eggers Hall, room 441.
Smith’s advisor is Professor Hugo Jales. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Alfonso Flores-Lagunes, and Maria Zhu. Professor Sarah Hamersma will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Three Essays in Labor Economics.”
