Join us in Pete’s Giving Garden (PGG) and help us with the garden duties! Join us from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. to get your hands in the dirt and enjoy the great outdoors for a few hours and help us with the garden duties.

We have ADA beds for those with mobility issues or if you would like to garden standing up. If you need vehicle access due to a specific ADA requirement, we have road access to the garden.  The vehicle must be moved once the passenger has entered the garden.

Currently, we are in the process of weeding both PGG and the pollinator gardens, planting seeds, and planting seedlings.  We will be adding straw as a covering to keep the weeds at bay soon.  We are also deadheading and cutting back some of the plants in the pollinator garden.

All produce grown goes to the two food pantries on campus run by Hendricks Chapel and overseen by Sustainability Management in their space on South Campus at 161 Farm Acre Road.

The garden is a partnership between Sustainability Management, David B. Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamic Food Studies and Nutrition Program, and Hendricks Chapel Food Pantry.
