The BioInspired Institute and Blatt BioImaging Center are co-hosting a virtual seminar by specialists from Nanosurf, who will be discussing the capabilities of their flagship AFM, the DriveAFM. They will explore its benefits for applications in bio and materials science.
This seminar will allow the Syracuse community to learn about the instrument’s capabilities prior to an in-person demonstration March 19-21. At that demo, users will be able to bring their own samples for imaging and measurements.
Complete motorization enables the adjustment of lasers and navigation of the sample without disrupting a temperature-controlled environment. The CleanDrive excitation ensures dependable cantilever tuning in liquid environments. CleanDrive is resistant to environmental changes and seamlessly integrates with an inverted optical microscope, allowing for the combination of transmitted light and fluorescence microscopy with AFM imaging and force spectroscopy. These features make the DriveAFM the leading tool for studying delicate samples such as DNA/RNA, viruses, and living cells.
