Participation of Women in the Upcoming 2024 Mexican Election

The main objective of this event is to promote awareness and dialogue about women’s participation in the 2024 Mexican election. The focus will specifically be on the role of women in the political sphere, emphasizing their importance and the need to empower women to actively participate in the electoral process. Additionally, the event will address pressing issues that women currently face in Mexico, such as sexism, femicides and other challenges. The aim is to shed light on these critical issues, fostering a deeper understanding and encouraging discussions on how to address and overcome these challenges.
The event will highlight the historical moment in Mexico, showcasing several women candidates for significant positions at both the federal and state levels. We will be hosting a virtual guest speaker who has experience in politics and has also been an advocate in advancing both women’s rights and LGBT rights in Mexican politics.
