Join Dylan Mohr, Open Scholarship Librarian, and Emily Hart, Science Librarian & Research Impact Lead, for an informal coffee hour conversation about DOIs (Digital Object Identifiers), what they are, and why they’re important to the visibility and discoverability of your publications, data sets, scholarship, etc. Hear about how they’re being used in our institutional repository, SURFACE, and get answers to questions like: what types of materials can and should have DOIs; where can I post my scholarship and get a DOI; and what can I do when a publisher doesn’t assign a DOI to my publication and I believe they should have.
