Dissertation Defense: El-Java Abdul Qadir

The oral doctoral examination of El-Java Abdul Qadir, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Thursday, May 2, at 11 am in 400 A Eggers Hall.

Abdul Qadir’s advisor is Professor Rebecca Schewe. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Edwin Ackerman, Johan Wiklund, and Amy Lutz. Professor Kishi Animashaun Ducre will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Ethnic Entrepreneurship Revisited: A Sequential Explanatory Study of Ethnic Pluralism and Heterogeneity Among Black Entrepreneurs in the United States.”
