Throughout the spring semester, ENG 411 – Doing Shakespeare, under the supervision of Dr. Shirilan, has been creating a production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream from the ground up, in every aspect from acting to creative design. Our play engages with themes of Greek life, sexuality, race, gender and labor, as well as Syracuse history. The play will feature many sensory-engaging elements. Our show is in The Loft at Syracuse Stage on May 5 at 7:00 p.m., May 7 at 8:00 p.m. and May 8 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are free and the theater is accessible for people of all mobility.
