Dissertation Defense: Jieun Yeon

The oral doctoral examination of Jieun Yeon, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Monday, May 6,  at 1:30 p.m. in Hind Hall, room 243A.

Yeon’s advisor is Professor Rachel Ivy Clarke. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors LaVerne Gray, Ingrid Erickson and Tina Nabatchi. Professor Tessa Murphy will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Power and Controversy: Examining the Process of Controversy surrounding Material Challenges at a Public Library.”
