Come experience the power and subtlety of the pipe organ in a special concert devoted to contemporary music.

Setnor School of Music faculty and students, along with trombonist Heather Buchman of Hamilton College, will perform a varied program of music composed within the last two years. The program features music by Brittney Elizabeth Boykin, Connor Chee, and Paul Fey, works by Setnor composition students Jessica Hallock and Elizabeth Bishop, and the world premiere of “Perpetual Motion” for solo organ by Assistant Professor Natalie Draper.

This concert is the culminating event of Setnor’s Discover the Organ program, an initiative to encourage young composers and musicians to learn more about the pipe organ.
