Han Kang – Nobel Prize Winner Roundtable
November 11, 2024 at 3:30am – 5:00pm EST
Hall of Languages, 500
You are cordially invited to a roundtable celebrating Korean writer Han Kang’s Nobel Prize win, where we will discuss the significance of her award and her works. To facilitate a more meaningful discussion, we offer interested participants the opportunity to read her books in advance. Three of her books, Human Acts, The Vegetarian, and Greek Lessons, are available for loan.
For those interested in borrowing a book to read ahead of the roundtable, feel free to contact Prof. Yun (syun101@syr.edu), Prof. Jung (byjung@syr.edu), and Prof. Tsen (dhtsen@syr.edu). We will also have 5 copies ready for you in HBC 340. Please see Mia (mdavis04@syr.edu) to pick a book up in HBC 340. To ensure more people have access, only one book may be borrowed at a time.
We hope you will join us for this wonderful roundtable on November 11!
