Students need more diverse teachers. The Baldanza Fellows Program is dedicated to recruiting, developing and retaining underrepresented teachers into Syracuse area K-12 schools. In a 12-16 month master’s program, you’ll get intensive field experience in local partner schools, develop a community cohort of fellow educators, link classroom theory to daily practice, and receive personal and real-time mentoring from a support team of University and community teachers and leaders.
Fellows will receive:
- Tuition scholarship to cover or go towards any School of Education intial certification teacher preparation program
- Stipend to support living expenses
- Hiring commitment from partner school districts
At this information session, learn more about the Baldanza Fellows program, our partner school districts, benefits of the Fellowship, and meet faculty and current students. Current Syracuse University seniors are encouraged to attend!
