Hot Takes & Hot Cocoa is a speed debating event concerning topics that revolve around the intersection of religion, science and politics. Examples of topics debated will include abortion, creationism vs. evolution, and separation of church and state. This event is put together by the Maxwell and College of Arts and Sciences Leadership Scholars Class of 2028 in conjunction with their CAS 100: Religion, Science and Politics class, and is supported by their instructors Professor Brockway and Professor Junium.
Refreshments (hot cocoa + more) and snacks will be provided for all attendees.
