The oral doctoral examination of Wenhua Lin, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Thursday, November 21, at 1 p.m. in Link Hall, room 263B and via Zoom.

Lin’s advisor is Professor Yeqing Wang. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Anupam Pandey, Quinn Qiao, and Wanliang Shan. Professor Zhao Qin will serve as chair of the defense.  The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Effects of Negative Poisson’s Ratio on the Mechanics of Auxetic Carbon Fiber Composites Under Tensile, Buckling and Low Velocity Impact.”
