Join together each year to fight hunger in Onondaga County by organizing an Empty Bowls fundraiser.
The event is held at lunchtime on Friday, October 4 at the Nancy Cantor Warehouse on West Fayette Street. For a donation, you will receive a bowl of soup provided by restaurants in Syracuse AND you may select a handcrafted ceramic bowl. There are always hundreds to choose from!
All of the money raised is donated to the Interreligious Food Consortium, an umbrella agency for many food pantries and meal sites throughout Onondaga County. It assists each of these programs with donations of food, money, and program support, and connects people in need of food assistance with appropriate resources.
The Independent Potters’ Association is excited to support this endeavor by donating handcrafted bowls each year.
Together we make a difference.
