Dissertation Defense: Dona Imanga Upamadi Edirisinghe,

The oral doctoral examination of Dona Imanga Upamadi Edirisinghe, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Thursday, October 17, at 11 a.m. via Zoom.  

Edirisinghe’s advisor is Professor Olga Makhlynets. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Mathew M. Maye, Xiaoran Hu, Robert Patrick Doyle, and Joseph Chaiken. Professor Mary Beth Monroe will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Peptides and Metalloproteins: Evolution, Catalysis and Material Design.”
