Arts and Crafts Movement in Central New York: Aspirations, Innovation, and Inspiration

Join Arts and Crafts Society of Central New York (ACSCNY) for a half day symposium on the  many aspects of the architecture, ceramics and furnishings of the local Arts and Crafts movement in different media, highlighting specific CNY sites and collections to develop our collective resources and history as a visitor destination.

Participants will include Bob Searing of Onondaga Historical Association; Garth Johnson of the Everson Museum; Beth Crawford of Crawford & Stearns; David Rudd of Dalton’s; Amanda Clifford of the Stickley Museum; Tom Guiler of the Oneida Mansion; Barbara Opar, Architecture Librarian at Syracuse University Libraries; Professor Jeffrey Mayer, Curator of the Sue Ann Genet Costume Collection in the School of Design; and others.
