The State of Democracy Lecture Series will host its second Centennial Election Event on Friday, Oct. 25 at 12 p.m. via a Zoom webinar.
Election 2024: American Democracy at the Crossroads, a conversation about the campaigns and consequences of the presidential election.
Panelists include:
- Jennifer Stromer-Galley, professor at the School of Information Studies, Syracuse University
- Shana Gadarian, associate dean for research and professor of political science, Syracuse University
- Peter Enns, professor in the Department of Government and the Brooks School of Public Policy at Cornell University, also co-founder and chief data scientist at Verasight
- Alex Thompson, CNN political analyst and national political correspondent at Axios
- Laura Barrón-López, White House Correspondent for PBS News Hour and CNN political analyst
- Margaret Talev (moderator), Kramer Director for the Institute for Democracy, Journalism and Citizenship; professor of practice, magazine, news and digital journalism at S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication, Syracuse University
- Chris Faricy (moderator), director of the Campbell Public Affairs Institute, Hicker Family Professor of Renewing Democratic Community, associate professor of political science, Syracuse University
