Newhouse is hosting an interactive, virtual event series celebrating the exceptional achievements of our distinguished alumni! Over the past 60 years, these graduates have made a lasting mark on every aspect of the media industry, embodying the innovative Newhouse culture. This event series will take us through the decades with exciting insights from the panels and trivia. We will also hear about current industry trends and look at where they are headed.
The event series will kick off with a journalism panel hosted by Chris Velardi ’95 featuring Dean Mark Lodato and prominent Newhouse alumni including Scott MacFarlane ’98, congressional correspondent for CBS News; Rob Lewis ’84, senior director of multi-format production at The Wall Street Journal/Dow Jones; and Amy Nakamura ’21, social media editor at The Washington Post.
