The oral doctoral examination of Prakhar Sharma, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Wednesday, September 11, at 9.30 a.m. in 155 Eggers Hall.
Sharma’s advisor is Professor Margaret Hermann. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Brian Taylor and Erin Hern. Professor Renee de Nevers will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Explaining weak national identification in contemporary Afghanistan.”
