GSBA Sponsored: The Procrastination-Burnout Cycle and How to Get Back to Work

This Graduate School BIPOC Alliance (GSBA) sponsored event features Dr. Toyin Alli from The Academic Society presenting a workshop “The Procrastination-Burnout Cycle and How to get Back to Work.”
In this 90-minute workshop, Dr. Alli will share how failure, imposter syndrome, and overwhelm can lead to a cycle of procrastination and burnout. She will walk through the five reasons graduate students procrastinate as well as strategies for overcoming each reason. Finally, Dr. Alli will discuss how to honor healthy boundaries in grad school.
The first 10 first year graduate students to show up will receive a hard copy of Dr. Alli’s book #GradBoss: A Grad School Survival Guide.
