The oral doctoral examination of Diana Katovitch, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Friday, September 13, at 2 p.m. via Zoom.

Katovitch’s advisor is Professor Dawn Johnson. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Cathy Engstrom, and Michael Gill. Professor Eunjung Kim will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “”Why are things as they are and not otherwise?” A phenomenological study of adult learners with general learning disabilities and their potential to disrupt the academy.”
