Ukuu Series: NYC Immersion Trip Application Deadline

The Barner-McDuffie House is taking our Ukuu “Greatness” program to another level. We’re leveling up in New York City! This immersion trip offers a platform to gain insight into a diverse range of companies mirroring the professional goals of our students. The companies we’ve chosen champion their Black employees through their career cycles, have employee resource groups (think corporate student orgs) and value community work. This opportunity will give students a thorough understanding of how to incorporate their academics into industry while staying culturally authentic. In addition, students will have the opportunity to connect with alumni from companies we visit and participate in culturally stimulating activities.

Immersion Trip Dates: Jan. 6-9, 2025

Career Services will be hosting three general information sessions to learn more about this trip:
