The Posthumanities: Arts and Sciences group invites you to our first meeting of the fall 2024 semester on September 16, 5 – 7pm, in 414 Bowne Hall. Posthumanities is a focus group of the BioInspired Institute co-chaired by Dr. Boryana Rossa (Professor, Film and Media Arts) and Dr. G Douglas Barrett (Assistant Professor, TV, Radio and Film). The group is open to the broader SU community.
Posthumanities is an open laboratory for experiments across art, science, and the humanities. We promote new areas of intellectual and creative exchange through collaborations across a range of disciplines and methodologies. This meeting will include member presentations, event announcements, and discussions of works in progress and the interests of attendees.
