Dissertation Defense: Baurzhan Bokayev

The oral doctoral examination of Baurzhan Bokayev, candidate for the Ph.D. degree,  will be held on Friday, September 20, at 3 p.m. via Zoom.

Bokayev’s advisor is Professor Amy Lutz. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Yingyi Ma and Jenn M. Jackson. Professor Azra Hromadžić will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “”Making a Bridge Between Countries”: Kazakh Students’ Socialization and Professional Development within American Universities.”
