FPP Kickoff and reception

The Future Professoriate Program gets its annual programming lineup underway with a Kickoff event and reception, featuring guest speaker Lynn Pasquerella, PhD, president of the American Association of Colleges & Universities and author of What We Value: Public Health, Social Justice, and Educating for Democracy (U of Virginia Press, 2022). Dr. Pasquerella’s talk, “Liberal Education in Illiberal Times,” will consider how the current landscape presents both challenges and opportunities for current and future faculty to transform higher ed in ways that meet the equity challenges before us. All are welcome, not just FPP participants. A reception will follow at 4 p.m. in the Lyman Hall atrium.
