This event has already occurred. The information may no longer be valid.

Join us in Pete’s Giving Garden (PGG) and help us with the garden duties! Join us from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. to get your hands in the dirt, enjoy the great outdoors for a few hours, and help us with the garden duties.

We have ADA beds for those with mobility issues or if you would like to garden standing up. We have road access to the garden if you need vehicle access due to a specific ADA requirement.  The vehicle must be moved once the passenger has entered the garden.

Currently, we are weeding both PGG and the pollinator gardens, and harvesting the vegetables and herbs.  We are also deadheading and cutting back some of the plants in the pollinator garden.

All produce grown goes to the two food pantries on campus run by Hendricks Chapel and overseen by Sustainability Management in their space on South Campus at 161 Farm Acre Road.

The garden is a partnership between Sustainability Management, David B. Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamic Food Studies and Nutrition Program, and Hendricks Chapel Food Pantry.

This event will be canceled if raining.
