The oral doctoral examination of Samantha Maguire, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Thursday, September 26, at 10 a.m. in the Marley Education Building, room 353.
Maguire’s advisor is Professor Tanya L Eckert. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Katie Kidwell and Natalie Russo. Professor Jonathan L Preston will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Correlates of School Absenteeism: A Systematic Review of What We Know and What We Don’t.”
