Dystopia Now: A Public Reading with Nana Kwame Adjei-Brenyah

Environmental Storytelling CNY hosts an interactive event with National Book Award finalist Nana Kwame Adjei-Brenyah, who will read from his debut novel, Chain-Gang All-Stars, a kaleidoscopic look at the American prison system and a clear-eyed reckoning with what freedom in this country really means.
Free and open to all with food served.
Register for a follow-up writing workshop on Friday, April 4, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. with Adjei-Brenyah and community organizers from the Center for Community Alternatives and writers and editors from Project Mend.
