This session will feature a conversation with Robert Shetterly, artist of the renowned educational exhibit Americans Who Tell the Truth.
About the Artist: Robert Shetterly, born in 1946 in Cincinnati, Ohio, is an American artist renowned for his portrait series, Americans Who Tell the Truth project, showcasing over 260 portraits of individuals dedicated to social, racial, economic, and environmental justice.
The Exhibition: A Conversation with George Washington aims to foster constructive reflection on the inclusion of all Americans, offering opportunities for dialogue and learning to deepen our sense of civic engagement and citizenship—a central theme for the Maxwell community.
