Dissertation Defense: Bryce Whitwam

The oral doctoral examination of Bryce Whitwam, candidate for the PhD degree, will be held on Friday, April 4,  at 10 am in Newhouse 3, Room 463.

Whitwam’s advisor is Professor Hua Jiang. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Rebecca Ortiz, Tamara Makana Chock and Qiu Wang. Professor Yingyi Ma will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Persuasion Knowledge as a Continuum: Understanding Engagement in Livestream Commerce Between China and the U.S.”
