Dissertation Defense: Danae Woodfaulk

The oral doctoral examination of Danae Woodfaulk, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Friday, April 4, at 11 a.m. in Hall of Languages, room 504.

Woodfaulk’s advisor is Professor M. Gail Hamner. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Biko Gray, and Gwendolyn Pough. Professor Coran Klaver will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Glorifying Fat: Body Size, Race, Gender, and Religion in the United States.”
