Dissertation Defense: Linzy Andre

The oral doctoral examination of Linzy Andre, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Friday, April 4, at 10 a.m. via Zoom.

Andre’s advisors are Professor Yanhong Liu and Derek Seward. The dissertation examining committee will is composed of Professor David Perez. Professor Courtney Mauldin-Jones will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Becoming a Counselor: Applying Critical Phenomenology to Uncover Narratives from Black Women Counselors about Wounds and Healing.”
