Dissertation Defense: Mauricio Torres

The oral doctoral examination of Mauricio Torres, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Thursday, April 10,  at 9 a.m. via Zoom.

Mauricio Torres’s advisor is Professor Prema Kurien. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Edwin Ackerman, Barbara Applebaum, and Dawn Dow. Professor Mario Perez will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Leaning In: Diversity, Dialogue, and Whiteness at a Quaker Boarding School.”
