Dissertation Defense: Sarah Nahar

The oral doctoral examination of Sarah Nahar, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Friday, April 4, at 8:30 a.m. in 500 Hall of Languages, the Killian Room and via Zoom.

Nahar’s advisor is Professor Philip Arnold. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Anne Bellows, Gareth Fisher, Sharon Moran, and Biko Gray. Professor Brice Nordquist will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Fertile, Social, Dangerous, Sacred, Gift, and System: Religion, Salt City Harvest Farm, and the Future of Human Shit.”
