Dissertation Defense: Clayton Larson

The oral doctoral examination of Clayton Larson, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Tuesday, April 8, at 9 a.m. in the Physics Building, room 202 and via zoom.

Larson’s advisor is Professor Britton Plourde. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Mitchell Soderberg, and Ivan Pechenezhskiy. Professor Arindam Chakraborty will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate’s dissertation is: “Quasiparticle poisoning and mitigation strategies in superconducting qubits.”
